While we have not had an extensive amount of experience in broadcast journalism, the yearbook program decided to dabble in film and video editing. A couple staffers and I directed and edited this video which took quite some time as we were not film-savvy and were unfamiliar with iMovie. Nonetheless, the commercial was aired during fourth quarter, a few weeks after the yearbook sales commenced in 2017 (our theme being "Momentum"). Our adviser calculated that, since the commercial aired, sales had increased approximately 34%.
